Curling in the OUA West

Universities in the OUA’s Western Conference include Brock, Guelph, Lakehead, McMaster, Waterloo, Western, Laurier, and Windsor. 

OUA West Programs

Brock University’s Curling Program is recognized as a full varsity sport at the school and receives full funding and support. The Team has:

  • a Personal Fitness Trainer with work-outs in Brock’s High Performance Centre
  • Sport Psych sessions each week
  • Access to sport scholarship funding
  • Both Varsity and Junior Varsity Teams with a 5 member coaching staff
  • League Play and Practices at the St. Catharines Golf and Country Club
  • A long history of success at OUA and U-Sport competitions

Program consists of both Varsity and Junior Varsity teams for both men and women. Tremendous success at both the OUA and USPORTS levels in recent years. Program is fully funded and also has access to athletic scholarships.

Our teams play in a local curling league and have the opportunity to compete in local bonspiels.

McMaster University curling consists of men’s and women’s varsity teams, as well as a junior varsity program. Both varsity teams finished at the top of their pools at OUA’s in 2020, with our women’s varsity team going on to capture the 2020 OUA championship title with an undefeated record.
