The Ontario Curling Council is pleased to announce the 10 teams who will be supported through our Next Gen Program for the 2023-2024 Season.
Tier 1: Four Teams will be supported in this Tier. These teams will be supported specifically through our Ontario High Performance Sport Initiative (OHPSI) partnership with the Canadian Sport Institute of Ontario. The OCC appreciates the ongoing support of the CSIO and our HP Programming.
• One female “Adult” team from either NOCA or CurlON region: TEAM DUNCAN
• One male “Adult” team from either NOCA or CurlON region: TEAM MOOIBROEK
• Highest Ranked (one) female U18/U21 team from either NOCA or CurlON region: TEAM TONER
• Highest Ranked (one) male U18/U21 team from either NOCA or CurlON region: TEAM MULIMA
Tier 2: Six (6) teams will be supported in this tier.
• One female U18/U21 team from NOCA region: TEAM DUBINSKY
• One female U18/U21 team from CurlON region: TEAM A. ACRES
• One male U18/U21 team from NOCA region: TEAM RAJALA
• One male U18/U21 team from CurlON region: TEAM WRIGHT
• One female U25 team (aggregate age of 105*) from either NOCA or CurlON region: TEAM LADOUCEUR
• One male U25 team (aggregate age of 105*) from either NOCA or CurlON region: TEAM STEEP
