U15 / U18 Team Camp
The Ontario Curling Council is hosting two single day camps for U15 and U18 athletes in August at the KW Granite Club in Waterloo. On Aug 12 there will be a single day Team Camp. Teams will be paired with another team and provided a coach to work with them on team specific issue and skills. There will be both on ice and off ice portions of the camp. The day will run from 10am to approximately 6pm. Team coaches will be asked to attend with their teams. Food unfortunately will not be provided. Cost for the team camp will be $600/team +HST. All participants will be required to have fulfilled their Sideline Learning requirements which will be sent to them once the team has registered. U15 / U18 Positional Camp
On Aug. 13 Individual U15 and U18 curlers can attend our first ever Positional Camp. This camp will run from 8am until approximately 3pm at the KW Granite Club in Waterloo. Registrants will select whether they want to attend the “Front End” Camp or the “Back End” Camp. Each section will deliver lessons that are focused on the particular skills required for positions. This camp will also have both on ice and off ice components and will be open to individual curlers rather than teams. Food unfortunately will not be provided. Cost for the team camp will be $125/person + HST. All participants will be required to have fulfilled their Sideline Learning requirements which will be sent to them once they have registered.
