Did you know that each new curling member that you attract is worth approximately $4800.00 during their curling “lifetime.”
The Adult Learn to Curl Program is the MOST successful and proven program at attracting and retaining NEW curling members. The Ontario Curling Council has one season remaining under it’s Ontario Sport Communities Recreation Fund Grant supporting the wide-spread implementation of the Adult Learn to Curl Program across Ontario Clubs. Clubs should take advantage of the subsidized training programs through the grant and get as many instructors trained as they can. The small investment will pay dividends for years to come. In a time where curling memberships are dwindling and operational costs are increasing, clubs need to be proactive at attracting new members and generating revenue.
In addition – the Ontario Curling Council is seeking two clubs to partner with to run New Canadian Learn to Curl Leagues.
