The Ontario Curling Council is pleased to announce the following teams have been selected to the Ontario Curling Council’s 2019-2020 Next Gen Program.
Tier 1 Teams will be supported through the Canadian Sport Institute of Ontario’s – Ontario High Performance Sport Initiative.
As explained in the initial Call for Applications – the program has been opened in a limited capacity due to stakeholder investment levels being unknown. Should funding level support the acceptance of more teams, we will draw from the applications already received. A date is unknown for the funding notification.
We thank all teams who have shown an interest in the program – we had a 41% increase in applications this year.
We look forward to working with the selected teams over the coming season.
