We thank the teams who have already applied for the 2018-2019 Next Gen Program – we still have a few openings and realize that not all teams/athletes may be aware of the program opening due to the time of year. We have decided to extend the application period until June 25, 2018 at 5:00 pm EST. Consideration will be given to the teams who have applied to the original deadline.
The Ontario Curling Council (OCC) and its membership, CurlON and the Northern Ontario Curling Association (NOCA) are committed to the growth and development of competitive athletes with the intent of putting Ontario and Northern Ontario athletes on national and international podiums for years to come.
The OCC has revamped its Next Gen Program for the 2018-2019 season.
Within the province of Ontario – there will be three (3) “Tiers” of programming:
Tier 1: Next Gen “OnTrack” – Supported by the Ontario High Performance Sport Initiative (OHPSI)
Tier 2: Next Gen “OnTrack” and “Competitive for Life/Adult” teams – OCC supported
Tier 3: “Excel” – User Fee supported and OCC subsidized
The application period for the OCC’s Next Gen Program is now open.
All program applications are due by 5:00 pm EST on June 25, 2018. Late applications will not be allowed. All applications must be submitted online.
