Now accepting applications for Wheelchair High Performance Camp

The Ontario Curling Council with generous support from the Canadian Paralympic Committee and Curling Canada are hosting a Wheelchair High Performance Camp in Kitchener at the K-W Granite on August 12-13th.

This is an invitational event for High Performance Wheelchair Teams – now that all invitations have been accepted/rejected, we have room for ONE more team to attend.

Criteria:

  • Team must consist of a minimum of three people
  • Team must intend on playing in NOCA or OCA provincials for the 2016-2017 season (be Ontario residents)
  • Team must be working with a certified coach

NOTE – this is intended to be a High Performance Camp –  athletes should have provincial and/or national experience.

Application Process:

Teams must email their desire to attend and outline the competitive resume of the players on their team, by July 15th, 2016 at 5:00 pm EST.  Email should be sent to Jennifer Ferris, Manager, Programs and Operations (jennifer@ontcurl.com).

Acceptance to the camp will be communicated by Monday July 18th at 5:00 pm EST.

Selected team MAY be eligible for a small travel subsidy.  Teams are responsible for their own travel and accommodation.
