Who: Open to athletes aged 14 and under as of June 30, 2025
The Ontario Curling Council is excited to host the U15 Triple Cup, a one-day event designed to promote athlete development and participation for U15 curlers. This unique event combines three Triples Games with a Skills Scoring session, giving U15 athletes the chance to play, learn, and challenge themselves in a fun, competitive environment.
Event Overview:
- U15 Triples Cup – Teams will play three 6-end games in the triples format, with players rotating positions each set to gain experience in different roles.
- Skills Scoring – All athletes will take part in a skills session, featuring select shots from the Curling Canada Skills Scoring App.
🏆 Awards:
At the end of the day, awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
The first two games are determined by random draw, while the third game is seeded based on win/loss records. Ties will be broken using combined team Skills Scores.
Coaching Requirements:
Coaches are not a requirement for this event – an adult may attend to act as Coach. Coaches do not have to be trained or certified for this event, but any coach registering to participate with a team must:
- Be over the age of 21
- Have completed the Ontario Curling Council’s Safe Sport Program
This event is a great opportunity for U15 athletes to develop their skills, experience multiple positions, and enjoy a day of curling with peers from across the province. Don’t miss the chance to take part in this exciting developmental event!
