Breaking Barriers: Women’s Competition Coach Course
Women in curling have made incredible strides, but coaching remains an area where gender equity still needs attention. To help bridge the gap, a Competition Coach Course exclusively for women is being offered in Sturgeon Falls on March 1 & 2.
This special initiative is made possible through funding from the Government of Canada and Women in Curling, ensuring reduced costs for participants. It’s an exciting opportunity for female curlers and aspiring coaches to develop their skills, gain certification, and inspire the next generation of athletes.
By increasing the number of trained female coaches, we can create a more inclusive and diverse curling community. Whether you’re an experienced player looking to transition into coaching or simply passionate about growing the sport, this course is for you!
