The Olive Branch For Children Charity Curling Bonspiel

November 16, 2024

$60

Join us for a heartwarming day of curling and community spirit at the Charity Curling Bonspiel for The Olive Branch For Children (TOBFC) on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Trisan Centre (25 Dillane Dr., Schomberg), home of the King Curling Club.

Get ready for an exciting day featuring two Jitney-style curling games, where teams are drawn randomly! Enjoy a delicious lunch, snacks, and the chance to win fabulous prizes. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome to join in the fun!

Event Schedule:

  • Early Draws: 9:15 AM and 1:15 PM
  • Late Draws: 11:15 AM and 3:15 PM

Beginners are encouraged to register for the early draw and arrive at 8 AM for curling instructions. Don’t forget to wear your vibrant ‘sunrise’ colours—yellow, orange, pink, and red—to brighten the day!

In addition to the curling, enjoy a silent auction and browse our jewelry sales. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to meet TOBFC founder Deborah McCracken-Nangereke, who will be curling with us and sharing insights about the charity’s impactful work in Tanzania. Plus, experience a 3D virtual visit to Tanzania right from Schomberg!

Registration Information:

  • Cost: $60 per person (includes a $30 charitable donation receipt)
  • Register by November 9, 2024
