Participants tend to work with curlers of all ages who are new to the sport\, but most particularly with Little Rock Curlers. Coaches who take this one day (1 day) workshop will become “Club Coach Youth Trained”. This coach will be able to instruct beginning curlers and youth curlers. A Club Coach Youth instructor will concentrate on the technical skills and leading curlers in activities that are age suitable and technically correct. \nPrerequisite: Participants must be 14 years of age or older on the first day of the workshop.

DESCRIPTION:September 27\, 2019 \n6pm to 10pm \n \n**Ontario Curling Council programs are ONLY available to registrants of our member associations CurlON and NOCA and to registered members of out of province associations. If you are not a member of a CurlON\, NOCA or sanctioned out of province association then this program is not available to you. \nBy successfully completing the Make Ethical Decisions (MED) training\, coaches will be fully equipped to handle ethical situations with confidence and surety. MED training helps coaches identify the legal\, ethical\, and moral implications of difficult situations that present themselves in the world of team and individual sport. \nMED training is a cornerstone of the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP)\, and leaves coaches with no doubt as to what to do when the going gets tough. \nMake Ethical Decisions – Curling\, is the same as the Multisport MED workshop but is available only to curling coaches and is delivered by Curling Coach Developers. \nCoaches who complete this workshop will be able to access the MED online evaluation free of charge.
