The Ontario Curling Council is launching a Regional Training Centre at the O ttawa Hunt and Golf Club. The Training Centre is intended to give teams and individuals practice time on superior ice conditions with or without the services of a coach to help them. The training centre is intended for competitive teams or players who are currently playing in teams on a competitive circuit. This is available for teams from U18 to adult and is meant for teams who are already working with a coach. Teams and players who want extra help and time on the ice in addition to their regular training are welcome. This is not intended for new players.
Timeslots are available on a first come, first served basis as are coaching services. When registering you will get the option to choose whether or not you want to work with a coach or not. You may also select Lisa Weagle as your coach for the evening at a premium rate and pending her availability. Currently we are able to offer Greg Artichuk, Cameron Goodkey, Gary Rowe and Kira Brunton as potential coaches for your sessions. We are working on additional coaches. All bookings must be a minimum of 48 hours in advance of the requested timeslot. (24 hours if it’s ice only)
Scheduled times are Thursday evenings from 8pm to 10pm and can be reserved in 2 hour slots.
Dates available are: Nov. 28 / Dec. 5 / Dec. 12 / Jan. 9 / Jan. 16/ Jan. 23/ Jan. 30/ Feb. 6 / Feb. 13/ Feb. 27
