For the 2017-2018 Season, the Ontario Curling Council will be assuming responsibility of Coach Training inclusive of National Coach Certification Programming (NCCP) on behalf of our members, Northern Ontario Curling Association (NOCA) and Ontario Curling Association (CurlON). By moving coach training to one organization, we can more efficiently run programs, keep our Coach Developers current with their training, and ultimately train more coaches through NCCP workshops and Professional Development.
We’ll be adding more professional development webinars and learning opportunities throughout the year as well as some NCCP workshops for NOCA region. But for coaches who want to get registered for training this fall – registration is now open. Just click on our new events Calendar, or follow this link for a description of workshops and a list of workshops.
We’ll be announcing our new Education Managers soon who will be responsible for managing coach education for the upcoming season.
